2 tbsp olive oil

454g flour stick noodles  or pancit canton (available in asian store)

100g mushrooms, sliced

500g pork shoulder, cut into small pieces

4 chinese style pork sausages, sliced thinly

1/4 green cabbage, chopped

1 onion, chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 big carrot, sliced, cut into matchsticks

4 cups chicken stock

4 tbsp soy sauce

4 tbsp oyster sauce

1/2 tsp ground pepper

salt, to taste


1.  Heat oil in a large saucepan.  Cook onion and garlic, until it softens.

2.  Add the pork, cook, until browned.

3.  Add  mushrooms and cook until it’s soft.

4.  Add pork sausages, carrot, cabbage, oyster sauce, soy sauce and chicken stock; simmer, for 10 minutes.  Season with salt and pepper.

5.  Add the flour stick noodles; simmer, until the noodles are soft.

6.  Serve hot.
